Butterflies Population II - Populasi Kupu-kupu II

Hari ini cukup cerah untuk melakukan perburuan di The beauty bush of Kalisoka. Walaupun cuaca sempat berubah dengan cepat pada pukul 9 pagi. Tetapi, saya berhasil merekam beberapa foto kupu-kupu yang dapat menambah koleksi kupu-kupu saya.

Today is brightly enough to start the butterfly hunt in The beauty bush of Kalisoka. Even though when I was really out, the rain was falling at about 9 am. But, I succeed to record some butterflies pictures to be added in my butterflies collection.

Kupu-kupu yang pertama saya dapatkan adalah kupu-kupu cantik yang memiliki detail pola yang luar biasa menawan;

The first butterfly that I captured is below. It has pretty detail on it wings.

Rekaman saya yang kedua adalah seekor kupu-kupu yang berukuran kecil. Kupu ini tidak seaktif kupu-kupu lainnya. Kupu ini cukup tenang saat saya merekam gambarnya. Bahkan saya dapat mengumpulkan beberapa gambar dari kupu-kupu ini dengan leluasa.

My second recorded is a small butterfly. The butterfly was hypo active. It was calm enough when I was capturing it. I even recorded many pictures of it.

Saya juga menemukan kupu-kupu kecil lainnya. Tetapi gerakan kupu-kupu ini lebih aktif. 

I also find another small butterfly, but it is quiet active, but I succeed to get my best shot on it open wings.

Selain itu, saya berhasil menangkap gambar kupu-kupu gajah dari jarak yang cukup dekat;

Furthermore, I succeed to capture the pavilion butterfly from closer. 

Sampai hari ini, saya berhasil mencatat ada sembilan jenis kupu-kupu yang ada di The beauty bush of Kalisoka. Tetapi saat saya memperhatikan detail kupu-kupu ini, setiap kupu-kupu memiliki pola yang berbeda pada bulunya. Tetapi saya masih akan terus melihat lebih lanjut mengenai temuan saya ini. Saya berharap ini akan membawa saya pada hipotesa saya mengenai kupu-kupu. 

Up to now, I am noted 9 types of butterflies from The beauty bush of Kalisoka. But, as I found, I saw that the butterfly has different detail on their wings even though they are from the same species. However, I want to find out more about it to make sure that my hypothesis about butterflies detail is correct.

Butterflies Population - Populasi Kupu-kupu

Hari ini cerah. Saya melihat beberapa kupu-kupu beterbangan di halaman saya. Saya kemudian mengambil kamera saya dan berburu kupu-kupu. Jenis kupu-kupu yang pertama saya tangkap adalah;

This is a bright day. I saw many butterflies fly on my garden. Then, I took my camera and I hunted them. The first butterfly that I capture was;

Saya berpikir ada berapa jenis kupu-kupu yang ada di Kalisoka dan berapa jumlah populasinya. Saya terinspirasi oleh suatu tempat wisata di Sulawesi Selatan yang dikenal Bantimurung. Di tempat ini mereka menangkarkan kupu-kupu dan memelihara kelestarian kupu-kupu. Saya berharap pencatatan saya ini dapat memberikan sumbangan pada pelestarian lingkungan dan pengetahuan umum.

I started to think about how many kinds of butterflies in The beauty bush of Kalisoka and how many population that they have. I am inspired by a place in South Celebes which named as "Bantimurung." In this tourist object, the people is growing and protected the butterflies. I hope, my collecting data will be useful for science and nature preserve. 

Dalam perburuan saya selanjutnya, saya menemukan kupu-kupu jenis berikut ini;

In my further hunt, I found this butterfly;

Saya menemukan kupu-kupu ini di ladang jagung. Pada artikel sebelumnya, saya pernah mengunggah gambar kupu-kupu ini.

Sejauh ini, dalam perburuan saya, saya menemukan 6 jenis kupu-kupu yang dapat tertangkap kamera. Jenis keempat yang saya temukan adalah;

As far, I found 6 types of butterfly in my hunt. And this is the fourth type of butterfly that successfully captured by my camera; 

Dari ketiga jenis kupu-kupu di atas, saya hanya menemukan satu kupu-kupu pada jenis ini.

From the third types of butterflies above, I only find one butterfly from this type.

Selanjutnya kupu-kupu yang cukup sulit untuk diambil gambarnya adalah jenis kupu-kupu Gajah. Saya melakukan searching pada kupu-kupu ini, dalam pencarian saya, saya menemukan bahwa kupu-kupu ini juga disebut dengan kupu-kupu "pavilion." 

Next, I found an active butterfly which was difficult to be captured by my camera. Local people called this butterfly as "kupu-kupu Gajah" or "elephant butterfly". However, in my search this butterfly also called as "pavilion butterfly." 

Saya melihat ada beberapa kupu-kupu gajah, namun ia cukup lincah dan terlihat curiga pada setiap gerakan. Tapi saya beruntung mendapatkan gambar kupu-kupu gajah yang sedang bersembunyi di balik daun jati.

This type of butterfly is sensitive with a movement and it is active butterfly. I was lucky to get my capture on it. It was hiding on some "jati" leave.

Selanjutnya kupu-kupu jenis keenam yang berhasil saya tangkap adalah jenis kupu-kupu yang berasal dari ulat jati seperti yang ditunjukkan pada gambar berikut ini;

The picture bellow is the sixth type of butterfly that successfully captured by my camera. The butterfly was formed from "jati" caterpillar.

Saya belum mendapatkan semua jenis kupu-kupu di Kalisoka. Saya akan terus melakukan update pada artikel ini untuk menambahkan jumlah kupu-kupu yang ada di Kalisoka. Selain itu, saya akan mencari nama-nama kupu-kupu ini baik nama ilmiah maupun nama lokalnya.

I haven't find all types of butterflies in The beauty bush of Kalisoka. I will keep search and update this article to add the population of butterflies on The beauty bush of Kalisoka notes. Besides, I will also find the name of each butterfly both scientific name or local name of these butterflies.

What to Eat On Bush

Sudah tiga hari Kalisoka diguyur hujan. Seperti hari ini, hujan masih saja turun, sehingga saya tidak berniat keluar dan berburu gambar. Tetapi, saya asyik mengutak-utik komputer saya untuk mencari foto-foto yang dapat saya bagikan di blog ini.

It has been three days that the rain is falling in Kalisoka. Today, the day is still raining, so I guess it is not the right moment to hunt for pictures. But, I enjoyed on clicking my photo files to find the photos that I can share today.

Kali ini saya menemukan foto-foto yang saya ambil beberapa hari yang lalu. Foto-foto ini akan mengajak anda "ngemil" di semak-semak. Seperti apakah?

This time, I found many pictures that I captured some few days ago. This picture bring us to "eat the bush." How?

Tahukah anda bunga cantik ini? Penduduk lokal menyebutnya dengan "lempeni." Lempeni mempunyai kulit buah berwana hitam saat ia masak. Rasa buahnya manis dan akan menyisakan warna hitam ungu di lidah anda. Tapi pada bulan ini, lempeni belum berbuah. Namun, ia sudah mulai berbunga. Saya akan kembali lagi untuk mencari buahnya dan menunjukkannya kepada anda. Oya, jumlah tanaman lempeni ini terlihat berkurang. Saya membandingkan jumlah pohon ini dengan kondisi tanaman saat saya masih kecil. Walaupun saya tidak menghitung secara pasti berapa jumlah tanaman tersebut, namun, tanaman ini sedikit lebih sulit untuk ditemukan.

Do you know this flower? The local people called it as "lempeni." The color of the lempeni fruit will be black when it is ripe. The taste of the lempeni is sweet and will left you purple color on your tongue when you eat it. However, the lempeni hasn't fruitful yet this month. But it is blooming now. Next month, I will be back again to check whether the fruit has ripe or I should wait next month. Furthermore, I found difficulty in finding this plants. I guess the amount of the lempeni is decreasing. I made the comparison between the amount of the plants when I was a kid and the amount today. Even I cannot give the exact amount, but I lost the plants in location that I usually visit.

Then, our next snack is;

Buah yang satu ini disebut dengan "duwet" atau "jamblang." Buah yang masih muda berwarna hijau, saat mulai masak ia akan berwarna kemerahan dan saat masak ia akan berwarna hitam. Rasa buah ini manis dan akan menyisakan warna ungu di lidah anda. Dalam penjelajahan saya mencari buah ini, terlihat belum semua pohon berbunga, tetapi saya menemukan dua semak yang sudah berbuah.

The local people called this fruit as "duwet" or "jamblang." The color of the fruit is green when it is still raw, then it will change into red and when it is ripe it will be black. The taste of the fruit is sweet and will left purple color on your tongue. Unfortunately, I found that some of the duwet trees haven't blooming yet, but I am lucky to find two bushes which shown green fruit on the branches.

Next, this is our snack today;

Bauh ini termasuk dalam keluarga beri. Oleh penduduk lokal, buah ini disebut dengan murbei. Menurut mendiang Kakek saya, daun murbei ini dulunya merupakan makanan ulat sutera. Dan saya memang sering menemukan kokon ulat sutera pada daun-daun murbei. Tetapi uniknya, di Kalisoka tidak ada petani ulat sutera maupun pengrajin Sutera. Saya berpikir, murbei ini mungkin bukan tanaman asli dari Kalisoka. Seseorang pasti membawanya ke tempat ini dengan suatu tujuan.

This fruit is including on berry families. Local people called this fruit as "Murbei." Based on my deceased Grand Father, the leaves of the murbei used to feed the silkworm. I guess he was right, because I found cocoon on the leaves of the murbei leaves. However, there is no silkworm farmer in Kalisoka. So, I guess someone already brought this plants here for a purpose. 

Gambar di atas adalah buah murbei yang hampir masak. Saat buah ini masak maka ia akan berwarna hitam. Murbei memiliki rasa yang manis saat ia sudah matang, tetapi ia akan terasa asam saat masih muda seperti ini. Selain itu, buah murbei akan menyisakan warna ungu pada lidah anda.

The picture above is shown that the murbei is still raw. When the fruit is ripe, it will change into black color and has sweet taste also, it will left purple color in your tongue. But when the fruit is still raw, it has sour taste.

Dawetan - Sapi Yang Bahagia

Dawetan - The Happy Calf

Hari ini hujan seharian di Kalisoka, tentu saja saya tidak memiliki kesempatan untuk melakukan perjalanan saya di The beauty bush of Kalisoka. Tetapi saat saya membuka-buka kembali file lama saya, saya menemukan peristiwa yang menarik untuk saya tulis.  Peristiwa itu adalah "ulang tahun" sapi. Mengapa demikian?

Today is raining all day. I don't have any chance to go out to get my shot in The beauty bush of Kalisoka. So, I opened my old files and I found interesting moment in The beauty bush of Kalisoka and it is called as " Cow birthday party." How come?

Baik, kita dapat melihat sapi pada gambar di atas. Anak sapi yang sehat, gemuk dan besar. Usianya belum ada satu tahun. Sapi itu baru beberapa bulan lahir di muka bumi. Tentu saja pemiliknya bersyukur karena anugrah ini. Bagaimana tidak, sapi dengan jenis ini biasanya memiliki harga puluhan juta saat ia dijual nanti. 

Well, we can see the picture above. It is a healthy calf, fat and big. It is not yet a year old. The calf was just born in a couples months. And as give thanks appreciation, the owner of the calf making the party to celebrate the born. It is because, the calf price can reach millions rupiah when it is sold one day. 

Sejak jaman dahulu kala, penduduk Kalisoka mengenal adat yang bernama "dawetan." Upacara adat ini memiliki tujuan mengungkapkan rasa syukur kepada Yang Maha Kuasa atas anugrah-Nya dalam bentuk kelahiran anak sapi. Upacara dawetan ini dibuat mirip dengan perayaan kelahiran seorang anak manusia. Lihat saja gambar berikut ini;

From ancient time, the Kalisoka community held a ceremony which is called as "dawetan." The ceremony is held to expressing gratitude to the Almighty for His Grace of birth of the calf. The ceremony of dawetan is look like the celebration of human birth. Look at this picture below; 

Dapat kita lihat di atas, pemilik sapi menyajikan makanan khas upacara kelahiran anak yang disebut dengan "tumpeng." 

We can see from the picture above, the owner of the calf will serve special food for the guests which is called as "tumpeng."

Kita bisa melihat kelengkapan sajian dari makanan tradisional yang terdiri dari nasi yang dibentuk seperti gunung yang disebut dengan tumpeng, nasi yang dibentuk seperti bola yang disebut dengan "golong", bubur merah dan putih yang memiliki rasa manis dan asin, serta bubur hambar. Selain itu, di sekitar tumpeng terhias sayuran berbumbu seperti salad sayur, tetapi sayuran ini berbumbu. Beberapa orang dapat mengganti jenis masakan ini, ada yang menggunakan saus kacang sehingga masakan ini disebut dengan pecel, tetapi ada juga yang menggunakan saus dari kelapa parut yang disebut dengan "gudangan."

We can see the full cuisines of the traditional food which are contained with; rice which was build like mountain. This rice called as "tumpeng", then there are rice which was formed like balls. This rice called as "golong", red porridge, white porridge and also plain white porridge. Furthermore, there will be vegetables salad aroung the "tumpeng." But this is different salad. This salad has different sauce. Some people will use peanuts sauce or coconut sauce. Vegetable salad which using peanuts salad called as "pecel" and vegetable salad which using coconut salad called as "gudangan."

Selain tumpeng, dalam kuliner ini, mereka juga menyajikan pisang emas - pisang yang berukuran kecil dan memiliki rasa yang sangat manis - dan mereka menyajikan minuman wajib yaitu dawet. 

Besides "tumpeng", in this cuisines, the owner of the calf will also serve "gold" banana. This banana has small size and taste so sweet. Then, the most important cuisine which "must" be serve here is "dawet." Dawet is beverage which was made from the flour, palm sugar and coconut milk. 

Lalu, apakah ini benar-benar pesta ulang tahun? Yahhh...kurang lebih demikian. Hanya saya tidak ada acara tiup lilin. Dan pada gambar berikut ini akan terlihat jelas bahwa ini adalah pesta;

Then, is it really a birthday party? Sure... it is a like. The difference is only, no blowing candle season. We can see the guests on the picture below;

Ini benar-benar pesta. Pemilik sapi akan memanggil tetangga-tetangganya untuk datang dan makan bersama dengan mereka. Tidak lupa pula, pemilik sapi akan membagi-bagian uang kepada tamu-tamunya. Uang yang dibagikan kepada tamunya tidak memiliki jumlah yang besar, misalnya berkisar antara Rp 500,- sampai Rp 2000,- tergantung pada kemampuan pemilik sapi.

This is really a party. The owner of the calf will invite the neighbors to come to his house and have meal with them. The owner of the calf will also sharing money to the guests. Usually the amount of the money which will be shared to the guests is about Rp 500,- up to Rp 2000,- depend on the ability of the owner of the calf to prepare the money.

Kalisoka Geography

Saya senang mengambil gambar jalan. Bagi saya ada yang menarik dari sebuah jalan. Saya yakin setiap jalan memiliki kisah-kisahnya sendiri. Demikian juga jalan-jalan yang ada di The beauty bush of Kalisoka. Seperti berikut ini, ini merupakan salah satu sisi jalan masuk ke dusun Kalisoka.

I always like to capture the street. For me, there is something interesting in the street. I believe that every street has its own story. Also, the street in The beauty bush of Kalisoka has its own stories and it is the witness of every stories from time to time. And below, is the street. It is the main street to Kalisoka. 

Ini adalah jalan masuk Kalisoka. Saya menyukai jalan ini, karena jalan ini memiliki semak-semak di kiri dan kanan jalan. Semak-semak ini memiliki bunga yang cantik saat musim kemarau. Oleh penduduk lokal, tanaman ini disebut dengan "leresede."

I like to put this street to put in The beauty bush of Kalisoka file because it has bushes nearby. The bushes has pink flower which will blooming in the dry season. Local people called this plants as "Leresede"

Lebih masuk ke dalam area Kalisoka, sebuah sisi jalan yang cantik menyambut kita dengan kesejukkannya.

Getting deeper to the Kalisoka area, there is another pretty street which will great us with the coolness 

Sedikit maju ke depan lagi, sebuah jalan dengan jembatan kecil tidak kalah memukaunya. Seperti yang ditunjukkan pada gambar berikut ini;

One step forward, a street with a small bridge was also amazing, like it shown on  picture below:

Jalan berikutnya yang memukai adalah jalan ini. Ini mungkin lebih tampak seperti sebuah sungai calon sungai kecil, namun dahulunya, ini merupakan jalan tembus menuju Kalisoka bagian atas. Namun, sejak pembangunan jalan baru, jalan ini sudah tidak dipakai lagi. Namun, jalan ini tetap menarik bagi saya. Jalan ini seperti lorong yang dihimpit oleh tebing tanah atau yang biasa di sebut dengan "Bambing" oleh penduduk lokal. Saya mengalami kesulitan dalam menterjemahkan istilah ini sehingga saya tetap menyebutnya dengan "Bambing."

Another charming street is this one. Maybe you will see that it is just a small river, but it was a street which connect the area of Kalisoka. But, since the city growth, this street are not being used anymore, because the people build a new street. However, this street is catching my attention because it has two cliff land which usually called as "bambing" for local people - it is difficult to me to find the similar translation both in Indonesian language and English. So, I will keep call it as "bambing"

Here is the next pretty street;

Ini adalah jalan baru yang menggantikan jalan sempit diantara tebing tanah. Jalan ini lebih lebar dan lebih aman dari jalan yang sebelumnya.

This is the new street which was replace the cliff land street. It is wider and safer from the first one.

Masih banyak jalan dan bahkan sungai yang melengkapi keberagaman Kalisoka. Oleh karena itu, tetap nantikan  The beauty bush of Kalisoka pada artikel berikutnya.

Desember yang ke 25 tahun yang ke 2014-Kupu-kupu yang Penasaran

December the 25th, Year 2014 - The Curios Butterfly

Pagi ini, saya berangkat ke Gunung Gangsiran dengan sebuah pasukan kecil saya. Dia adalah Dimas - remaja SMP dan Ikhsan seorang anak SD. Kami memulai perjalanan ini dengan sebuah insiden kecil. Saat itu, Dimas menunjukkan padaku sebuah bunga yang cantik diantara semak-semak. Saat ia membuka semak-semak tangannya tertusuk duri. 

This morning, I went to Gangsiran Hill with "my little troops". They are Dimas - a junior high school student and Ikhsan - an elementary school student.  We started our trips with a little incident. Dimas got a thorn on his finger when he opened the bushes to show me a beautiful flower in The beauty bush of Kalisoka.

Setelah kecelakaan kecil itu, kami menghindari semak-semak berduri dan mem-fokuskan diri untuk berburu kupu-kupu. 

After the incident, we kept off the thorn bushes and focusing on hunting the butterflies in The beauty bush of Kalisoka.

Pagi ini kami menemukan beberapa jenis kupu-kupu, namun ada satu kupu-kupu yang penasaran. Kupu-kupu ini seolah mengatakan "Foto saya!" 

This morning, we found many kinds of butterflies, but there was one curious butterfly which seem like to say "Capture me!"

Kupu-kupu itu terus mengikuti rombongan kecil kami menelusuri pagi yang cerah di Gunung Gangsiran dan menghalangi jalan kami

The butterfly kept follow our group who were cruising the bushes in the Gangsiran Hill in the bright morning and it seem like block our way.

Namun, sepertinya itu tidak cukup untuknya, kupu-kupu itu masih terus mengikuti langkah kami walaupun kami pergi ke sisi yang lainnya.

I already took so many picture from the same butterfly, but it seems not enough for it. The butterfly followed us even we moved to another side of the hill.

Selain itu, dia menunjukkan sayapnya yang cantik agar kami dapat menyaksikan keindahannya dengan jarak yang lebih dekat.

Besides, it showed us her beautiful wings so we could see the beauty from the closer position. 

Lihat sayap indahnya, seperti pola batik. Sangat luar biasa. Tetapi ia tidak berhenti begitu saja, dia masih tetap mengikuti langkah kami dalam perburuan kupu-kupu lainnya seperti berkata, "Akulah yang terindah!"

Look at her beautiful wings! It is look like batik pattern. Wonderful! But the butterfly was not stopping showing us her beauty. It was following us even we capture another butterfly. It seemed say, "I am the best!"

Selain kami menemukan kupu-kupu yang penasaran ini, kami menemukan kupu-kupu yang lainnya yang saya tulis pada artikel lain di The beauty bush of Kalisoka. Nantikan terus catatan saya.

Desember yang ke 25 Tahun yang ke 2014 - Di Sebuah Kebun Jagung

December the 25th, year 2014 - In the Cornfield

Pagi ini saya berjalan-jalan ke kebun jagung. Ada yang menarik perhatian saya di tempat ini. Saya menemukan beberapa serangga cantik walaupun saya yakin di tempat lain, serangga-serangga ini mudah untuk ditemukan. Tetapi saya memiliki tujuan untuk menyimpan mereka dalam file The beauty bush of Kalisoka. 

This morning, I walked in the cornfield with my camera. There were many things that caught my attention. I found many pretty insects even though I believe that there are many similar insects in another places. However, I still want to keep them in the file "The beauty bush of Kalisoka."

Serangga pertama yang membuat saya tertarik adalah laba-laba dan semut ini. Bayangkan apa yang mereka perbincangkan di pagi hari yang cerah. Apakah pembicaraan mengenai indahnya hari ataukah mereka sedang membicarakan mengenai umur hidupnya seekor semut?  

The first insect that caught my attention were spider and ant. Imagine this; what did they talk about in such morning? Did they talk about how wonderful today or did the bargain about how long should ant live?

Serangga kedua yang menempati sisi lensa saya adalah kupu-kupu. Kupu-kupu di bawah ini seperti pola pada goresan batik. Saya berpikir, mungkin kupu-kupu ini adalah ide dasar pembuat batik.  

The second insect which placed my lens was butterfly. The butterfly is like a batik pattern. I thought the butterfly maybe the main idea of batik pattern. 

Serangga selanjutnya adalah belalang. Tetapi ini bukan belalang biasa. Belalang ini mampu memberikan aroma yang tidak sedap. Namun, bagi saya ini sangat menarik untuk disimpan pada file saya berikutnya. 

The next insect was grasshopper. This was not ordinary grasshopper. The grasshopper was very stinky. However this is deserve to be kept on The beauty bush Kalisoka file. 

Tunggu, jangan beralih kemana-mana, berikutnya saya akan mengajak pembaca untuk minum teh bersama dengan seekor semut. Saya yakin nikmat sekali minum teh di sebuah karpet daun berwarna hijau di The beauty bush of Kalisoka. 

Wait! Don't go anywhere! I will take you having tea with an ant. I believe it was great having tea in a green carpet in The beauty bush of Kalisoka. 

Saya menghentikan perburuan saya pada serangga karena saya belum berhasil mendapatkan gambar dari beberap kupu-kupu cantik yang sempat menggoda saya. Tapi saya berjanji akan kembali untuk mendapatkan gambar mereka. Namun dalam perjalanan saya pulang kembali ke rumah, seokar capung mengikuti saya sejak dari perkebunan jagung dan hinggap pada dinding rumah seperti mengajukan diri untuk di foto. Benar saja, setelah saya mengambil gambarnya, capung itu terbang kembali menerusakan penelusurannya di pagi hari. 

I ended my journey in hunting the insects because I wasn't get the picture of pretty butterflies which was flirting me. But I promise, I will be back to get their picture. However, in the way home, a dragonfly followed me from the cornfield and perch on the wall seemed like want to be pictured. And I guess it was correct, because after I captured the picture, the dragonfly was flying back to it search the bless in the morning. 

Saya masih akan terus mengumpulkan data-data mengenai The beauty bush of Kalisoka. Jadi nantikan catatan saya pada artikel berikutnya.

Desember Hari yang ke 22, tahun 2014 - Pesona Putih Pagi Hari

December The 22nd days, Year 2014 - The White Morning

Saya memulai perburuan "harta karun" yang tersimpan di semak-semak di sekitar rumah saya. Cuaca sedikit lembab setelah hujan semalaman. Tetapi saya beruntung karena langit pagi ini begitu tampak cerah. Hanya saja, tanah menjadi lebih lembab dan licin.

I started my "hidden treasure hunt" in The beauty bush of Kalisoka around my house. The weather was a bit humid after heavy rain last night. But I was lucky because the sky was so blue and bright. But I must be careful in stepping my feet, because it was humid and slippery ground.

Gambar pertama yang berhasil saya tangkap adalah rumput cantik dibawah ini;

My first capture was; this pretty small wild flower below:

Bunga cantik ini memiliki diamter sekitar 1-2 cm dan tumbuh rendah di antar rerumputan. Bunga cantik ini saya temukan di sisi rumpun "suket teki", seperti yang terlihat di bawah ini;

This pretty small flower has diameter about 1-2 cm and growing between the grass. I found this flower in a humid area near "Teki grass" which was shown below:

Saya kemudian meneruskan perjalanan saya yang hanya bergeser beberapa langkah dari penemuan bunga yang cantik ini. Saya menemukan tanaman merambat di sekitar pagar. Tanaman itu memiliki bunga cantik berwarna putih. Beberapa diantara bunga-bunga itu belum mekar, tetapi salah satu diantaranya sudah mekar, sehingga bunga itu saya pilih untuk saya masukkan ke dalam koleksi saya ini. Lain kali saya akan mengambil gambar bunga yang belum mekar.

I continued my journey few steps from the first flower. There, I found plant on a fence. It has white flower which is bigger than the first one. Some of the flowers hadn't blooming yet but one of them is about to bloom, so I chose this flower to be captured and put it in my online file of The beauty bush of Kalisoka. Another time, I would take a picture which hadn't blooming yet. 

Saya meneruskan langkah saya ke sisi yang lain, saya menemukan sebuah bunga yang disebut dengan Bunga "Sunduk mentul" oleh penduduk sekitar. Bunga ini akan terlihat cantik saat mekar bersamaan. Tetapi bunga ini juga menempati fokus yang indah pada lensa saya walaupun ia berdiri sendiri di atas rumput-rumput.

I continued my steps to another different side of The beauty bush of Kalisoka. I found a flower which was standing between the green grass. It has green long stem with white petals and yellow pistils. I guess this is the idea of ancient people in making wedding accessories for women. Because, this flower known as "Sunduk Mentul" flower. Sunduk Mentul is groom accessories which arranged on women hair. The material was taken from yellow metal or gold and has similar shape with this flower. Furthermore, this flower would look great when they are blooming together. Unfortunately, I found it stand alone. However, this flower look great on my lens. 

                                      

Bunga ini juga memiliki pesona yang luar biasa saat saya mengambilnya dari atas. Seperti pada gambar berikut ini;

Furthermore, this flower will look great when we see it from different angle. I bring you to see this flower from above such as below;

Pesona putih pagi hari yang saya temui berikutnya adalah bunga rumput mungil lainnya. Namun, bunga ini belum mekar sepenuhnya. Ukuran bunga ini masih di bawah 1 cm. Namun, bunga itu tetap cantik di dalam lensa saya.

Another white morning glory I found; were these small flowers. But these flowers not totally bloom. We could see that the diameter of the flower were under 1 cm. However, these flowers look great on my lens. 

Dan saya menutup perjalanan saya pagi ini dengan sebuah rumput yang menjalar di tepi jalan. Rumput tersebut tumbuh di atas pasir di tepi jalan, mungkin tanaman ini bukan tanaman asli Kalisoka.

I ended my journey those morning with another pretty wild flower. I guess this flower was not origin on The beauty bush of Kalisoka. Because it was growing on the sands on the side of street. 

Karena saya lebih senang mengambil gambar bunga-bunga secara detil, maka berikut ini tampilan bunga rumput ini.

However, I want this flower also place my file on The beauty bush of Kalisoka, so, I capture the details of the flower like this; 

Saya menyukai detail bunga ini, terlebih dengan butiran-butiran embun yang mempercantik bunga ini.

I like the details of the flower. Especially the dew makes the flower prettier.

Saya masih memiliki banyak catatan perjalanan saya dalam menemukan "harta karun" yang tersembunyi di Kalisoka yang dapat diceritakan kembali untuk generasi yang akan datang. Jadi, nantikan perjalanan saya berikutnya di The Beauty Bush of Kalisoka.

Well, this is not the end of my journey in The Beauty Bush of Kalisoka, I still have many journeys that will be kept here in purpose to be re-tell to next generation.

Kalisoka

Kalisoka adalah sebuah dusun kecil yang terletak di desa Margosari, kecamatan Pengasih, kabupaten Kulon Progo, propinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Berdasarkan data statistik terbaru saat artikel ini diluncurkan, luas area Kalisoka adalah 63.3905 hektar dengan jumlah penduduknya 565 jiwa.

Kalisoka is a sub village of village Margosari which is sited on sub district Pengasih of regency Kulon Progo, with the province is Jogjakarta - Indonesia. 

Based on the statistic data which was taken when this article being written, the area of Kalisoka is 63,3905 hectare with total population is 565 people. 

Kalisoka terletak pada sebuah bukit kecil yang sering disebut dengan Gunung Gangsiran. Wilayah Kalisoka dimulai dari perbukitan tersebut hingga sampai di kaki bukitnya.

Kalisoka is sited in a hill which is called as Gangsiran Hill. The location of Kalisoka is started from the hill down to the low area. 

Masyarakat Kalisoka sampai saat ini belum majemuk. Penduduknya masih didominasi oleh satu suku (Jawa) dan masih memiliki keterikatan saudara. Pada awalnya, penduduk Kalisoka terdiri dari beberapa anggota keluarga besar yang kemudian pada perkembangannya keturunan mereka terikat dalam pernikahan-pernikahan sehingga saat ini mereka menjadi satu keluarga besar. Tetapi pada perkembangannya, karena adanya transaksi jual-beli tanah di Kalisoka, maka penduduk Kalisoka mulai bervariasi dengan kedatangan warga baru.

The community is homogeneous. The majority of the community is Javanese and they are still having the family boundary. In the beginning, there were only few families who lived here. In the presence, the ancestry of the families are married each other and in final, they become one big family. Nowadays, as there were many people sold the heritage land to another part, today, the people of Kalisoka may variant. 

Pekerjaan penduduk Kalisoka bervariasi, diantaranya sebagai petani, bekerja di bidang pendidikan, bekerja di bidang pemerintahan, bekerja di sektor swasta, pengusaha dan peternak. Sementara, sebagian penduduk lainnya bekerja di tempat lain seperti Jakarta, Sumatera, Sulawesi dan Bali.

For their lives, the community of Kalisoka are working in the education sectors, government sectors, private sectors, entrepreneur, stock farmer and farmer. Meanwhile, a part of the community left their village and working in another places such as Jakarta, Sumatera Island, Celebes and Bali.

December, the 21st day of the year of 2014 - in a Meadow 


Ini adalah hari pertama saya memulai blog saya yang saya beri label "The Beauty Bush of Kalisoka." Blog ini saya buat untuk mengajak para pembaca untuk menyelusuri semak-semak di Kalisoka dan menikmati keindahan yang tersembunyi di dalam semak-semak itu.

This is the first day I start to write a blog which I called "The Beauty Bush Of Kalisoka." I made this blog to bring the readers walk with me cruising the bushes of Kalisoka and enjoying the hidden beauty of the bushes. 

Semak dan rumput di Kalisoka mungkin hanya sama dengan semak-semak dan rumput-rumput di tempat lain, tetapi saya ingin mengabadikan setiap tanaman tersebut sebelum semuanya punah oleh gerusan jaman dan pembangunan yang semakin marak di Kabupaten Kulon Progo.

Probably the bush and the grass of Kalisoka similar to another bushes and grasses in another places, but, I just want to picture them and collect them in my online file before they are disappear because of the city growth in Kulon Progo district. 

Pagi ini, saya memulai perjalanan saya di semak-semak dekat rumah saya untuk mengambil gambar rumput seperti di bawah ini;

This morning, I started my trip in bushes near my house in a small meadow to take the grass flower such as below; 

Rumput ini tumbuh di sebuah lahan kecil yang lembab bersama berbagai jenis rumput-rumput yang lainnya.  

This grass is growing in a humid area with another grasses. 

Di dalam lahan kecil ini, tumbuh berbagai macam spesies rumput dan bahkan terlihat dengan jelas sebuah rumpun anggrek tanah yang berwarna putih. Tapi sayang, pada saat pengambilan gambar ini anggrek tersebut belum berbunga. Saya akan kembali lagi untuk mengambil gambar anggrek ini saat ia mulai berbunga.

In this small humid area, there are many grasses species and even I found a ground orchid. This orchid has white flowers in their stalls. But unfortunately, this is not the time of the blooming of this orchid. But, I will be back again to capture this flower for sure.

Bunga rumput lain yang dapat saya temukan pagi ini adalah bunga rumput teki yang saat ini sulit untuk dijumpai atau mungkin rumput-rumput itu tersembunyi di The beauty bush of Kalisoka di sisi lain wilayah ini. Berikut gambar rumput teki itu;

Another grass flower that I found today is "Teki" grass (local people called it as "suket teki" - unfortunately I haven't find the scientist name for this grass). Usually, we can easily find this grass, but nowadays, it is a bit difficult to be found or maybe it is hiding in The beauty bush of Kalisoka in another side. Below it the picture of "suket teki":

Rumput Teki

Selain rumput teki yang saya temukan, saya menemukan sebuah rumpun rumput yang memiliki bunga berwarna pink dengan kelopak tunggal dengan ujung bunga bagian depan melebar berikut gambar bunga tersebut;

Furthermore, I found another wild flower on the surface of the ground, it has pink color with single petal and it is wide in the edge of the petal. Here is the picture;

Saya menutup perjalanan hari ini di ladang kecil ini dengan sebuah buah manis yang disebut dengan jambu biji atau sering disebut dengan jambu kluthuk. 

I will close my short trip today in the small area with a sweet fruits which are called as guava or local people will called is as "Jambu Kluthuk".
